Updated the Blog

by Gary 11. May 2010 10:12

Had to change something today. I have finally graduated from school and now have some extra time....so, I read the Illiad by Homer. It was one of those things that you think to yourself that you want to do and it will make you a better read person. So I did it and well it was pretty good I must say.

You get the whole of the gods and men from Achillies to Zeus and everyone in between. As I discovered, the Illiad is considered the oldest Greek myth dating back to 1,000 years before Christ. I am not sure how this will help me develop a new iPhone game, but I will let you know when I come up with something.

Anyway I changed around the Blog...I like it, at least it is a change anyway.

That's all for now...

See ya next time.

4th App Submitted

by Gary 16. February 2010 14:52

Today I submitted my 4th app to the iTunes store. This one is called US Presidents and it is a 25 question rapid fire game. It has 8 achievements you can earn and a High Scores screen. By the time you master this game you will be able to recognize all of the 44 presidents of the United States.

Not bad.

Let's see how long it takes for Apple to approve it.

C Ya Next time.

Lots of things today.

by Gary 18. January 2010 01:32

1st off I have completed my first Open GL app for the iPhone. It is called Great Wall and is a breakout style game with pictures that depict the Great Wall of China in the background. I submitted it to Apple this morning. It is really not bad and constitutes my first foray into the OpenGL world.

Second, I got some major help with the website as it was looking fairly incomplete. So it underwent a total overhaul and I think it turned out rather well.

Anyway lots of developments in a short span of time.

I will let you know how they turn out.

Ok, Apple has just approved my next version os the US States and Capitals game. This version contains high scores. You can save up to 10 high scores per each level. This was one of the good suggestions submitted as feedback.

I'm Back!!!!

by Gary 11. August 2009 11:09

Ok, after doubling up on my courses in college I am now through that portion YAY!!!!!

...andI am back to coding. I have released 1.0.4 for US States and Capitals today, which was a combination of bug fixes and verification of the new iPhone 3.0 compliance.

I am fast at work on version 1.0.5.

I will be including the ability to have high scores in the 1.0.5 version.

I am thinking of a top 5 or top 10 scoreboard...

Let me know what you think.

Thanks,

Gary
